Or what I like to call The Soup Hut. This cozy little place is nestled slope side in the Big Sky Ski Resort and is something I look forward to every year I’m skiing there. It’s the perfect place to take a much needed break from the cold. You ski right up, leave your skis outside and step in to the cozy warmth. They have a rotating menu of homemade soups as well as some sandwiches and really good hot chocolate. Dense and chocolatey. But the big draw is the soup!
The three days I stopped in, I had Tomato Florentine, Cheesy Vegetable and Chicken Noodle.
All were hot and delicious, as were the warm rolls on the side. Black Kettle Soup Company, or the soup hut, is a one of a kind place not to miss if you are skiing at Big Sky. They are located at the base of the bowl under the Lone Peak triple chair lift.
