Down a flight of stairs off of Main Street in Bozeman, MT is this welcoming bar and restaurant. I’ve eaten there twice before and this time went for Happy Hour. They have a very good cocktail menu as well as a large selection of beers, many from local Montana breweries. The atmosphere is very warm and comfortable and the staff is very friendly.
My husband and I took advantage of the happy hour appetizer menu and had Copper’s soft pretzel bites with jalapeno beer cheese and sweet potato tots with smoked ketchup. This is not your typical bar food, it is very original and tastes homemade.
The food from their regular menu is delicious as well, we’ve had their deviled eggs, avocado caprese salad, Copper Burger and hand cut fries in the past. The Bourbon Julius cocktail, made with vanilla infused bourbon, fresh squeezed orange juice, egg white and simple syrup, served on the rocks was very tasty, too.
I think my favorite part about Copper Whiskey is actually the painting on the wall! It’s the central focus of the room. A canine member of the ski patrol with his partner on a chair lift. It’s awesome!
